Well, it's been a while since I made an update...primarily because I haven't done much lately.  With the weather turning nicer, there have been plenty of other things do.  Such as golf (I've played about 10 times already), yard work (it's that time again...twice a week mowing), gardening (I got about half of it in last weekend), and building golf clubs (I built most of a set last night, finished it and started another one tonight, and expect another set to arrive tomorrow, then there are at least 2 sets that need new grips).

But Randy finished the rear end last week and brought it back.  Another work of art!  I hope to get back to cleaning stuff up in the next few days.  I also picked up the brackets for attaching the car to the rotisserie, so we'll need to figure out how to weld up something to attach to the car.

I figured out what to do with all the gas (I figure between 5 and 8 gallons) that had been sitting in the gas tank for 15 years.  I mixed it up 1/2 and 1/2 with good gas, and I'm burning it in the lawn tractor.  So far, it's run pretty good, but I still have several gallons to burn.

Here's the end of one of the straps from the gas tank, before cleaning.

Here's the finished rear end...it almost seems like a shame to put it back on the car, it looks so good!

A close up shot of the diff gear housing. Randy polished it up so nice that we decided to clear coat it.

Another view of one end of the rear end assembly.
