Finally...another update!  It's been a little over a month now, but that doesn't mean I haven't been doing anything.  I haven't done as much as I'd like, but I have completely restored several items (see pictures below).  Also, my brother came over a few weeks ago and we fabricated the brackets we need to put the car on the rotisserie.  So far I'm still planning on cleaning and painting the bottom myself, then hiring my brother-in-law to do the rest of the body work.  I'm giving serious thought to restoring it to the original colors.  I have been planning on painting it red, with a black interior, even though I know it was originally black with a red interior.  I couldn't convince myself that would look good, but after much thought I think it would look really sharp if done properly, and I'm pretty sure it would be quite unique.  If I go that way, I'll have to see if Moss will let me exchange the black door panels and door cap rails for red ones.  Both items are quite expensive, so I hope so.

This is the wiper motor assembly before restoration.

Here's the inside of the gear assembly of the wiper motor.  I cleaned this all out and replaced the grease with white lithium grease.

A close-up of the gear showing the contact and arm assembly.

This shows the wiring at the commutator end.  The red wire had to be unsoldered in order to remove the motor casing and armature.

Here's the finished product.  It looks great, and even works!

Another view, showing the wheel boxes.

Here's the completed headlight assemblies.

This is a shot of some of the pieces of the steering column I've restored.

A few more items restored, including the washer pump, turn signal flasher, one of the door latches, and the heater vent doors.

Here's the restored door handles and door locks.

The completed wiper arms, including new blades.

Here's the completely restored radio blanking plate, including fresh black "wrinkle" paint.

Here's the back of the trunk lock assembly.
