I have a motorized vehicle again!  So now I can call the insurance company and get insurance on it.  I tried before, but they said they couldn't insure it on an auto policy because it wasn't a motorized vehicle, since it didn't have an engine in it.  But they couldn't insure it on a homeowner's policy because it doesn't cover vehicles!  But all the parts I have stored in the basement are covered!  I love insurance...not!  But maybe now I can get insurance.

We struggled for several hours getting everything ready to slide the motor in, then actually putting it in was a breeze.  So now I need to make a list of all the little things that need to be done on and around the engine, and just work the list down.

Here's the motor on the hoist, sitting on my router table to give it a little stability while we prepared it for installation.

The transmission's been installed, and we're ready to slip it into the engine compartment.

Here's the engine compartment, guarded by old bedspreads and towels...we didn't mark up any of the paint during installation!
