The batteries in my camera went dead and I haven't remembered to stop and get some so I don't have any new pictures, but here's the latest update.  Randy came over Sunday, and we nearly have the motor buttoned up.  We got the oil pump and timing gear installed, along with the timing cover.  I had to leave before we were done with what we wanted to do (bowling tournament) so Randy stuck around and worked on it himself..  Monday I installed a few of the "tack-on" items, like the oil cooler union, the oil pressure union, and the blanking plug near the oil pressure relief valve.  The major items remaining are the cylinder head (it's all assembled...it just needs to be bolted on and torqued down), and the water pump (I bought new bolts for the water pump and had to paint them...I'm just waiting for the paint to dry).  I still need to finish working on the carbs (I have to figure out how to replace the throttle shaft bushings), and I need to replace the bushings and brushes in the starter and generator, then rebuild them.  But the motor is getting close to being done.  Then it can sit in a corner for a few months while I work on the rest of the car.

I'm continuing to clean and paint items I've removed, like the master cylinder frame and cover.  I painted them black tonight (they'll need a few more coats, from different angles) and they look great.  I can't wait until I can start bolting that sort of thing back in (but that'll be awhile).  Tonight I cleaned up the voltage regulator and started working on the fuse block.

I also sent the transmission home with Randy to have him tear it down and rebuild.

Hopefully, I'll get some new pictures up here tomorrow or Thursday.
