I went out to the body shop this weekend, and progress is being made!  They have the new floorboards in, the battery boxes are done, and one of the fender patch panels is welded in.  I've finished plating all the hardware that needed it, but found out that the plating doesn't prevent rust.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do now.  I know that the way I've been polishing them (wire brush in the drill press) scrapes some of the plating off, but even when I don't do that they rust a little but.  I might just try clear-coating after plating and polishing.

The is the union for the oil line to the oil pressure pressure gauge.  Not sure why I didn't take an "after" picture, because it really cleaned up nicely.

This shows the contact area of the horn push.

This shows how the fuel pump is attached to it's mounting bracket.

This is all I have left to restore, other than the windshield and the seats.  Not bad!

Here's the new floorboards, welded in and ready to be painted.

Another shot of the new floorboards.

Here's the new battery boxes.

And here they are from inside the car.
