Well, here we go!  The body work is in process...I have the doors and one fender, the other fender is ready, and the hood just needs to be buffed out.  And they look great!  I was considering saving some money by restoring the painted wire wheels I have, but after seeing the completed doors, fenders, and hood, I have to get chrome wires.

With the flurry of activity on the body work, I've started  doing some of the work on my "to-do" list.  Earlier in the week I removed the 2 rusted studs in the exhaust manifold.  I soaked them with Liquid Wrench every day for about a week and a half, then clamped onto them with a pair of vise grips and gave the vice grips a sharp rap with a hammer, and they both broke free.  Then today I sandblasted and painted the manifold with a high temp paint.

Here's the exhaust manifold after cleaning it up and painting with a high temp paint...it looks really good.  The studs and bolts in the flange are just there to keep the threads in good shape.

Here's some pictures of the painted and buffed doors and right front fender.  The pictures really don't do them justice.  They are completely smooth and have a really deep black shine!
